Our suppliers have come back with the lowdown and we’re please to report that our Callia Selected Argentinian Malbec, Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, Champagne Duval-Leroy NV Brut and Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial are all vegan-friendly.

Please note, Bodegas Callia say ‘In the process of making our wines, we do not use substances of animal origin but we do not have a vegan certification’ so we think that makes it vegan but if anyone can shed any further light on that one, please let us know. Apparently the cost of certification is prohibitively expensive for many producers in Argentina and this may be why Bodegas Callia are uncertified.

Of our white wines, Cullinan View Chenin Blanc and Antonio Rubini Pinot Grigio delle Veneze are vegetarian but not vegan. This is also the case for Corte Vigna Pinot Grigio Rosé delle Venezie and Viña Pomal Centenario Rioja Crianza.

Small amounts of animal products such as isinglass are used to make Waipara Hills Sauvignon Blanc, Rugged Ridge Zinfandel Rosé and Cullinan View Shiraz, so these wines are not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.

All our wines are naturally gluten-free.
